The cold weather

While at work,i noticed an increase in amount of homeless people attempting to enter the hospital overnight and escape the frigid temperature outside.I don’t blame them for trying to stay warm!The problem was that they were forcing open the locked doors,wondering the hospital and stealing blanquets and patient belongings.                                                                                                             During the cold snap ,the city opened additional location where people could seek shelter from the cold .In addition,the city provided transportation to these locations.I question why people were refusing the help.Where they aware of these new places to take shelter?had they tried to get there before but did not make it on time and arrived to find the doors locked?Did they feel trapped in these closed off areas?Did they prefer the freedom to the structured environment provided?                               In Kungfu,we are encouraged to ask questions,to feel the mouvement and to attempt to figure out what is wrong.We have the chance to be supported and guided in our journey but it is our choice whether or not we reach out and grasp that opportunity.I can relate to the homeless in the way .I don’t utilize all the supports provided because i have difficulty asking for help.I am shy to ask questions and don’t like to feel as though i am taking someone time from their own training.With the IHC team i have slowly been improving.                                                                                                                       In the end it is our choice to decide where we want to be and what we are ready to do !

 Ca fait quelques années que mon fils joue au baseball. J ai jamais prêté attention plus qu il faut dans leurs techniques mais cela a changé. On dit que le kung-fu es partout et oui même au baseball. Je me suis dit que je l aime bien celui-là!! Il n est pas la pour gagner mais bien pour promouvoir leur instruction et viser leur amélioration. La lettre présentée au joueur est à mes yeux est une similitude de notre engagement. Beta form

One of my personal goals was to write down any form while i am recovering from the surgery. At first i thought how can i even do my katana  form if i can walk normally. Then i started to write it down and asked my son to do it . I was amazed how well it went . He was able to tell me what feel wrong so i can adjust a few move. He have a passion to work with woods so now he is making is own katana. I don’t know yet if i will be able to do it myself march 23 but i know i am working on it . He might not look great and funny at first but i am glad i have a start!!

Slurpee

 The night before the demo i asked my son if he would like to do my form in the IHC team .At fist he said no. Obviously he have changed his mind. He got a deal !  a slurpee!! He was affraid to mess up or even to forget. He did not really practice it . I told him not to worry about it that no one will judge. Being on the mat and wearing the uniform was an amazing feeling. Sharing this incredible night with my son was priceless. A proud moments!! I don’t know yet if my beta version will change due at this time i can’t really do it in a way i could feel the flow or even understand very well the Katana .I had some good insight from my son to help me to get what i came up with . Without the injury I wouldn’t have experience those moments or thought i can write a form .A tools that i will keep in mind for the future .
