Salvation Christmas kettle

Last Saturday i volunteer for the salvation Christmas kettle.I noticed lots of donations was done by the olderly people, maybe it was the time i was there?I question myself is it due because they know what was life longtime ago (war ,big family, recession ext ?) is it lack of empathy from the younger crew or just struggling themselves. With the break -a- thon coming soon ,I embrace even more the value behind it and hope my contributions will have help my sponsor to realize how important to have empathy and help the other!

The winter driving and Kungfu

This past weekend we we had our first snowstorm!Kungfu and driving are not than far for me.They have lots of similarities. We need to be aware of our surroundings, need to react if needed to avoid accidents,be kind to let other pass,be calm and be able to adapt with route conditions!Unfortunately some driver will be reckless and doesn’t matter if you are a good driver accident can happened. So be safe !

Black belt

The I ho chuan team has helped me to push myself in many different ways.My goal has not changed,i want to become a black belt.I am getting stronger, more fit but importantly is how i am integrating the values and lessons behind our training at the kwoon or into my own life.A few months ago,i found myself getting really irritated with poor ethics from other staff members.Reading the Mastery by Stewart Emery was beneficial and still is .I don’t find myself getting as upset now .I am a hard worker and have high expectations of myself when it comes to the care i provide to my patients.Maybe i will inspire other staff members to work hard and be proud of the care they provide as well.I have tho kids that have been doing Kungfu since age 3,They are good kids and have empathy for others.I believe it is not just from parenting but from their training as well.I am glad to be part of this journey.we all face obstacles but it s our choices to turn those obstacles into positive learning experiences...
